A design studio crafting buildings, spaces, and objects
——
inspired by the lives and stories they hold.
A studio for buildings, spaces, objects, and stories.
Studio Jacinto Padín advocates for a holistic approach to art, architecture, and interior design.
Led by Jacinto Padín — the studio believes that meaningful design is an expression of a project’s unique story — personal, collective, or reflectively incomplete. Grounded in simplicity and craft, it strives for what is both relevant and lasting — as evocative as it is pragmatic — where artful intention meets practical execution.
Jacinto’s sensibility was shaped early on in his father’s specialized millwork shop, where he developed a deep appreciation for craft and design. After graduating with commendations for Excellence in Design from the Hillier College of Architecture & Design at NJIT, he gained hands-on experience in custom fabrication, luxury residential construction, and bespoke architectural design — contributing to high-end projects throughout New York City. He later served as Project Architect at Neal Beckstedt Studio and as an Associate at Wunderground Architecture & Design.
In 2018, Jacinto founded the studio as a concept-driven atelier — collaborating with artists, homeowners, businesses, and developers to create thoughtful, enduring experiences layered with material, spirit, and daily life. Each project becomes a tableau: a composition shaped by the many minds, hands, and voices through whom it takes form.
Ultimately, the work is always personal. Whether self-initiated or collaborative, each tableau unfolds through dialogue, intention, and a shared pursuit of meaning — an authentic reflection of what’s observed and the stories held close.
At its best, what emerges is a considered response to form, feeling, and function — grounded in intention and with a longing to create buildings and spaces of permanence and timeless material resonance — each telling a story of its own.
